[ ... so yeah, she obviously remembers. well, she remembers the overall big picture, even if some of what happened was a blur of things. in part because she woke up with not just a mild headache, but faint bruises shaped like fingerprints on the back of her thighs, and honestly, her lips feel bruised, too. maybe not literally- or yes, literally. sometimes steve would kiss her in a way she could feel later on, but this was different somehow. maybe because steve always followed up those bruising kisses with something softer. billy... definitely didn't. ]
I usually prefer parties with a crowd of people I actually know and like, but this obviously wasn't that kind of party. I also live in Hawkins, of course there's things I'd like to forget. But it wasn't really like that anyway, it was more about that first option. Not giving a shit for a while. And you are far too easily impressed if you think me knowing my limit is noteworthy.
