Maybe. But I'm not counting him out just yet. For someone who really only pinpoints a person's baseline insecurities and then turns them into a nightmare, he is surprisingly creative.
[ no biggie, though. vecna finding his way into her mind definitely hasn't gotten under nancy's skin enough that she questions if any of this is even real on a daily basis or anything.......... and, well, shit. it definitely didn't occur to nancy that their phones could be tapped. forget about code words, they need code phrases. ]
I really wish we didn't need to rely on these things so much. I mean, I have a walkie-talkie, and Steve does too, but they basically eat through batteries, so they should really only be used for emergencies.

i guess we have to stick around each other more often or think up some emergency plans for when things go sideways? like where we meet up or what do we do. you might have to be in charge of those.
